I have been working at Norwex full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The culture of this company is exactly what so many others are striving for: genuinely encouraging. Upper level management is accessible, and career paths are open for discussion. I was hired from the outside, but training and promoting from within really does happen.

    Cons

    After 60 days, I still haven't experienced a con.

I have been working at Norwex part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

+ Norwex has a wonderful support system and you don't have to invest a lot of money in the company in order to earn rewards and incentives!
+ I love the flexibility of this job; you can make it work for you!
+ I joined Norwex in September 2016 when my son was only 3 months old and I loved the no pressure, join for free (only $9.99 shipping & I received $75 worth of Norwex) with no sales requirement!

    Cons

    - You get "Norwexia" as some may call it and you want to buy the whole catalog!

    Advice to Management

Thank you for all of your hard work and encouragement!

I have been working at Norwex part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great customer service from Norwex, great business resources/back office, great support, great commission for consultants, awesome products, awesome company mission

    Cons

There is a minimum sales requirement for consultants.

    Advice to Management

I urge the company to please revisit this and consider decreasing the sales requirement in order to remain an active consultant or removing it. As with all direct selling companies, how successful a consultant is depends a lot on the amount of work they put into it. With that said, for someone who works for Norwex VERY part time as a consultant, that also works a full time job, has a family, takes care of parents, in school as a student, it would take a lot of pressure of a consultant to not have to sell a certain amount in 3 months to remain "active". If aconsultant can remain active and retain visibility on the Norwex "find a consultant" feature on the Norwex website, could benefit consultants in their business.

I worked at Norwex part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good product
    Enzyme-based cleaners
    Proven to be effective
    Chemical-free
Fantastic laundry detergent for sensitive skin
Can choose own hours to work

    Cons

Pay per hour after preparing and hosting parties is way less than minimum wage
    Have to market to friends
    Very expensive
    Microfiber actually is environmentally detrimental
    Laundry detergent leaves grease stains
    Customer service is terrible
    Direct sales

    Advice to Management

Study and learn effective customer service techniques - that would go a long way!!!
Also, learn to not be so defensive if a disagreement or an unhappy customer comes along. It's embarrassing to see how many people sell the product, then won't see through with warranty.

I have been working at Norwex part-time

    Pros

Excellent compensation for consultants. Purchase at 35% off, earn products, and a commission! Work on your terms.

    Cons

Like any business venture, you get out what you put in. Hard work and dedication always pays off!

I worked at Norwex full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A bunch of perks such as company BBQs, fun holiday excursions to places like Six Flags and Medieval Times as well as catered lunches and steep discounts on Norwex products. A lot of training and education on the job. Flexible scheduling. Consultant calls usually that not bad either. Care Center leadership looks for specific talents to develop for internal projects, sometimes leading to positions in other departments.

    Cons

Having to stop projects often to answer consultant calls due to inconsistent staffing. Minimal, often incorrect communication from other departments, effecting call volume and leaving Consultant Care Reps in the dark.

    Advice to Management

Keep the Consultant Care Center well staffed, demand better communication from other departments.

I worked at Norwex full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Earth friendly. Several perks(freebies) given to employees

    Cons

Startup mentality. They were afraid to move forward to accommodate for the growing company. Not enough employees and sometimes whole departments were missing.
