I have been working at Notable Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Notable has a "no walls" culture that allows you access to all individuals. The mentoring is there, if you want it. The hours at the main office are very reasonable, not much overtime. There are a lot of very bright people in the company who can teach one quite a bit.

    Cons

No training to speak of, you have to jump in and learn yourself. A smallish company, there is little room for advancement within the company, and those who get promoted just end up with more responsibilities. The benefits are sub-par for a company of this size, and the compensation is average at best. A lot of times there is no sense of urgency to solve a problem, which is odd in a technology company. There's quite a bit of nepotism in the company.

    Advice to Management

Consider investing in formal trainings for employees, especially managers. Reduce the amount of nepotism.

    Pros

    Cons

Just got acquired by Nuance Communications...

    Advice to Management

Keep as much of the current culture as possible.

I have been working at Notable Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Relaxed dress code, flexible work schedule, option to work from home. People are pleasant. Nice building/work space.

    Cons

It's near impossible to grow within the company! All the talk of advancement and growth is just talk. Not everyone is offered training. There is definitely favortism within departments. "Awards" go out to the same people...never recognizing anyone else's hard work for the company.

    Advice to Management

More training for all and opportunity for growth!!! Better compensation would be great too.

I have been working at Notable Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Casual dress code, different offices, I.e. Not your regular cube farm. Fast pace, easy to get decisions,

    Cons

The sales CSO is way too aggressive, the partners fight amongst themselves like 13 year old girls trying to get into Justin Bieber's dressing room, the product is a scanning application for copiers from the 1990s which the partners now offer for free. Also, Management is extremely micromanaging (unofficial style there).

    Advice to Management

Please act on plans and get this company sold fast, before partners buy the competition instead. Treat the employees with more (genuine) consideration, and please slow down the turnover.

    Pros

Relatively laid back environment - great increase in employee benefits overall work experience. They are very good to employees who work hard for the company.

    Cons

Growing pains - as company gets larger the layers and limits of personal hinder the ability to perform at times

    Advice to Management

Invest in your biggest resource... your employees advancement can take this company to the next level. Remove the politics around doing business and let your people excel at what they do.

    Pros

The dress code is pretty casual and the people are very friendly. If you're in sales, you are treated very well.

    Cons

There isn't too much room for growth here. it is a stepping stone job in most positions.

    Advice to Management

More training and opportunities for growth would create a greater employee retention rate.
