Novelics provided employees an opportunity to experience the jobs and tasks required to bring a design from conception to production. Employees were encouraged to learn more and ask questions to be able to grow and perform a wide array of tasks.
The management philosophy was to shield employees from the behind the scenes decisions that were made about the company. This meant little or no communication until asked or until things became too late.
Advice to Management
Keep employees in the loop more often, instead of trying to keep every management decision a secret. The management may be the brains, but the employees are the flesh and blood.
