I have been working at Novitex full-time

    Pros

    Pleasant work environment.
    Friendly coworkers and management.
    Also friendly customers.

    Cons

Work is exhausting and overbearing during peak seasons which outnumber the downtime between.
No chance for advancement despite promises of it. Best chance is to make a connection on campus with customers in better jobs.

I have been working at Novitex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I really do not do much very little mail inbound and outbound. Office is very small at major Insurance company. Long hours from 7:30am - 4:30Pm .

    Cons

No pay raises at all stuck at $13.00 per hours, no COLA either.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees more money per hour. Maybe a yearly COLA which would be nice.

    Pros

At least you have some job
I am glad I don't work here anymore.

    Cons

The manager are racist and I hated working their. Everyday it was drama and miserable. The manager was never there and only certain people work. You have grown people acting like they are in a high school instead off work. They pay rate is low for all the work you have to do.

    Advice to Management

You need to learn how to not be racist and become a leader. You are never their and you don't know anything

I have been working at Novitex full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work is steady and I like the client's at the site I'm at.

    Cons

Pay is terrible, raises are near non-existent (I've had a single 1.9% raise in the 5 years I've been here), management doesn't communicate with sites, moving towards caring more about numbers rather than customer's needs.

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting corners to meet your bottom line. Give raises, act like you care about your employees, and promote from within.

    Pros

Good co-workers. Hard working front line employees.

    Cons

Terrible management, low pay and no raises for non-management for four years.

    Advice to Management

Learn to value your employees and put your money where your mouth is.

    Pros

It's hard to find anything good about this company other than the people that you work with. The "worker Bees" were much more in tune with the company than senior management was.

    Cons

Lack of advancement, no training courses would be approved unless you signed over your first born child. The CIO was only concerned with the security and couldn't care less about the actual running of the systems and network until there was a problem.

    Advice to Management

Do the right thing and quit.

    Pros

NON as of right now - abusive to employees......

    Cons

they are contracted to run the Mailroom where I work.....the employees wrk hard and in My opinion ARE MISTREATED . Financially and via Benefits......One employee I know well has wrked there over 3yrs - just got an hourly Increase of .06 cents an Hour! ?? Yep 6 PHKN CENTS........ they might as well throw him up against the wall SLAP his Face and Kick him in the Balls! IT'S AN INSULT! 6 god-dammed cents an Hour? That's a Raise from the 1940's...... WTF!

    Advice to Management

PAY your employees MORE - Most of the FULL TIME Employees where I work ARE THE WRKING POOR! ONLY 2 CAN AFFORD TO DRIVE....... Pathetic! How much does your CEO make????

    Pros

In the beginning, we all worked together, the management seemed to care, lots of overtime, free meals occasionally, and just overall a good family feel

    Cons

Everything in pros was temporary. Management then was only nice to you if you were part of the "cool" group and were their friend. The process for doing work changed sometimes daily, and their form of communicating it to you was either not to, and you would find out about the change by getting an error, verbally, and not making sure people who were out for the day or who were out of the room to use the restrooms/smoke/etc got the message, or paper memos (which I don't think many organizations have done since the late 90s). They were losing clients and employees left and right during my last days, and last I heard they did a "merger" (probably an acquisition in reality) and are considering closing the site since they cannot get it together

    Advice to Management

Run it like a company and not like a grammar school, and figure out what you want your employees to do BEFORE you give them direction.
