    Pros

Allow you to run your business in the most effective and efficient manor. My manager is really hands off. The products are superior to the competition!

    Cons

Very conservative and we need to take more risks. Too top heavy...need to get rid of management and non-revenue producing positions.

    Advice to Management

Continue to allow reps to run their business, how they see fit. We have too many managers in the company. The ratio should be 12-15 reps per manager. Nine is too few...physicians get tired of the constant field rides. We need to be more aggressive with our marketing. NNI has superior products, but we are too conservative!!

I have been working at Novo Nordisk full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great pipeline, best in class Diabetes products

    Cons

Very lofty sales goals. Lots of pressure, hard to get promoted or get an "exceeds" because you need to do well every year on sales numbers, problem you are punished with unfair goals when you do particularly well, this seems to be to ensure you don't make more than target bonus even with the best of efforts.

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep good people set attainable goals, and when your people exceed them, don't punish them with even higher expectations. Or good people will go where they can make Presidents club and 200% of their bonus.
