Overall a good company to work for. Novotus was acquired just over a year ago so the integration has been a little tricky at times. Cool people to work with. Management is open to suggestions and questions.

    Cons

Hard to get rid of labels once you have them. Not much growth or advancement opportunity.

    Pros

Novotus has an awesome small company/family feel. Great environment, Smiles and laughing all around.

Ping Pong, always great food in the office + Breakfast Fridays!
The Company events are always a blast.

    Cons

I don't have anything to complain about Novotus directly, There will always be rotten tomatoes in every work place. The only way not to like Novotus would be to not let the company build around you.

I worked at Novotus full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good values, if only they were put in place currently. They sure used to be. Novotus 3 years ago, was an AMAZING place to work for. What happened to "Do What's Right Always", or "TEAM", or "Other's First", or "Passion and Innovation"?

    Cons

The most recent postings on here, are from new management, who while crushing the very souls of their team, are highlighting the themes of Novotus past. Sort of like walking through a weird version of "Scrooge", and seeing what was once there, now touted like it still exists, from the very people who killed it all. Managers empty employees desks, after the employee has left, and try to share it with other existing recruiters. Like trying to salvage someone else's trash and handing it off to current employees. It is not just sad, it is rude and ridiculous, to think that one employee would like to hold on to another employee's award or desk belongings.

    Advice to Management

Re-do, start over. Take the few remaining people here who remind you of what you were 3 years ago, flourishing and with a happy team of employees, who were enthusiastic. Then look at the miserable lot you have now, who are so beaten down, that they don't have any joy coming to work. Try to hire like-minded people back, the people who brighten your day, will brighten your employees day. The people you hear laughing and having fun doing their jobs, will remind you of how sad and quiet the office is now.
