I worked at NuRock Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free Lunch. VERY nice coworkers. Good air conditioning.

    Cons

Highly unethical. Management talks behind their employees backs, about them. The company is owned by a married couple who use their marital conflicts to manipulate their employees. Constant drama. Management does not pay their bills to vendors or employees who travel on their behalf.

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to your employees about why you are asking for their passwords. Also, the United Soccer League knows you are throwing them under the bus.

    You are not unemployed

    Cons

This was my first Manager job so I went in excited. Now I'm more seasoned and I think back and realize this is an AWFUL COMPANY. They lie steal and cheat it's literally like working for the devil. You move residents into units that should be condemned. You steal their deposits. They abuse their onsite teams horribly by placing them on salary. A very low salary and then make them work 7 days. U are constantly being monitored via video. No real incentive unless u like living onsite which is in the hood.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Your money is on time in your account
They lie to cover up stuff, they r very superficial, and unorganized company.

    Cons

Owners are slum lords. They take extra money from their residents falsley for their gain.
The owners advise the manager they are not alloud to give back deposit and to eat up the deposit.
They lie to managers to make them do things that are not right to residents
The Regional has no back bone and are typically scarred of the residents

    Advice to Management

Stop underestimating poor low income resident's, think tgey dont know stuff., you r not the only lawyer. The residents I served has family members that are lawyers and professional business people

I worked at NuRock Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small company, cute communities, great construction team, and amazing on site teams.

    Cons

bills not paid, cost of living pay increases do not happen, everything is micromanaged, salaried employees are abused on hours required, and there is a biased attitude toward people based on race.

    Advice to Management

A better work/life balance is needed for all employees. Don't use them up and throw them away at the moment they become tired. Give salary increases annually, and realize the grass is not always greener with a new person - simply care for the people you already have.

I have been working at NuRock Management (Less than a year)

    Pros

Team environment with lots of support. They offer supportive training and good feedback. I am a new employee and happy with the decision to work for this company.

    Cons

The benefits are not very good. Only one week of vacation and three sick days each year. The company new hire paperwork did not specify whether more vacation benefits would be offered with time on the job.

    Pros

Your check clears and you definitely get 40 hours. There are no other pros, sorry!

    Cons

To be honest they are slums!!! No one trusts anyone. you dedicate yourself and that still doesn't mean anything. They use you to lie to the residents. I hated it here and I strongly hope that you really do your research before applying. Corporate (if its real) does not answer calls from residents. I feel bad for the workers. The only way you will prosper at NuRock is if you are just as filthy as they are. Good luck!!!

    Advice to Management

Learn to trust! Stop terminating people that really have your back. Stop lying. Stop putting people against one another. Make your employee feel appreciated and wanted. I'm happy I'm no longer apart of the company, but I should have had positive things to say about you guys and I did not. Wake up and see that you guys ruin a lot of life's and that's not right!! Beckie, get help!!! You are so.....just get help!!!
