Pros
Upper management leads by example in the “sharing and caring” culture. The people are friendly and there is a genuine sense of community in the office. While base pay is par for the course, the benefits and perks are much better than your typical midstream company.
Cons
Work is not always challenging or engaging. You’re strongly urged to donate a small portion of your paycheck to charity and volunteer 24 hrs/year, but whether those are pros or cons depends on the person.

Pros
Great benefits with a fairly decent work life balance.
Cons
Backwards mentality by several. Get harassed if you don't donate to their charity. Uneven dress code policy.

Pros
Very Professional Atmosphere mixed with relaxed low pressure environment. Employees are trusted, and empowerment is visible through the company. A great sense of pride is visible in every department, great sense of respect from peers and managers. Great pay and benefits, bonus, stock options, it makes a difference when acompany is trying to be the best.
Cons
NuStar is still small company in comparison, but still growing after spin off from Valero, The roots are strong and some employees need to get over the spin off from Valero. Although its nice to volunteer to help others, its seem like it’s a job requirement, If you don’t pledge to volunteer or donate to the United Way, you feel like you job would be at stake.

Pros
NuStar has a fantastic corporate culture that highly emphasizes togetherness and will take any opportunity to celebrate! They are also very passionate about volunteering & serving the community. The employees are also very kind and helpful- when my car battery died in the parking garage, the CEO (Brad Barron) actually jump-started my car for me. The values of the company are definitely reflected in the employees.
Cons
NuStar highly encourages employees to donate to the United Way as part of their annual giving. While it is charitable to donate to a cause, I found that it could potentially cause internal competition or insecurity depending on the amount given. Also, given the small size of the department in which I was working it would be difficult to move up in the ranks unless any employees move companies or retire.

benefits and pay, and that's it
Cons
will not get any advancement if you don't donate at a certain level to their charity. poor management, false incentives and constant changes in policy and leadership
