    Great people to work with. A very collaborative environment. Stimulating the neurons on a daily basis.

    Cons

    If you are a 9-to-5-er, forget it.

    Pros

    Innovative company that has a collaborative environment, and great products. Excellent benefits. Somewhat flexible hours, and ability to work from home.

    Cons

    Heavy workload, but its manageable. Not a 9-5 job!

    Competent, intelligent, and hard working people
    Great morale throughout the sales team in North America
    Excellent teamwork
    Resources are made available when needed

    Cons

    There are some reviews here that list cons, but I haven't personally experienced any of the issues outlined in other reviews

    Advice to Management

    Move solutions to the cloud.
    Engage more directly with end customers in order to get a greater share of wallet.
    Look to add complimentary solutions either through acquisitions or partnerships.

    Pros

    I really enjoyed my time at Nuance. Great people, great technology and great benefits.

    Cons

    Some of the back office requirements for sales seemed a bit cumbersome and slowed sales process down in some ways but that's typical of big companies.

    There are few things as wonderful as working with speech. The combination of humanity, high-tech and great people makes Nuance a great place to work.

    Pros

    Challenging work environment, but not overwhelming. Flexibility to try to maintain work/life balance, when possible. Great benefits, fair compensation, pay for performance is a plus for overachievers.
