Pros
Great benefits (4 weeks vacation from the first year, stock plan, ...) Flexible hours and possibility to work from home when necessary to help balancing family and work life Great environment and smart talented team Top employers in Canada Really exciting to see that your work is used by millions of people Respect and recognition of performance
Cons
Distributed teams is sometime hard work with due to timezones but it's not a big deal

Pros
Lots of hours. Provided equipment. Started out a contractor.
Cons
Expect constantly growing overtime. Highly disorganized. Too much pressure and stress. No tech support, they have tech support but unknowledgeable and you have to troubleshoot yourself. Severely underpaid. Insurance is too expensive. Management has no idea how to do their jobs. Management is unsupportive. No support for escalated calls. High call volume with demanding and stressful expectations. Not worth the time. You will run yourself into the ground for little pay and not much else. Extremely high turnover. They claim to have and value work life balance but that's far from the truth. Also expected to work all major holidays.

Pros
The pros of working at Nuance is they allow employees to work from home resulting in better work life balance. We were acquired by Nuance, and they guaranteed everyone's positions at the time of the acquisition. They were great about adjusting salaries to be competitive with the Nuance structure and similar companies. It is a fast paced environment with a lot of talented folks.
Cons
The different divisions within healthcare work in silos, so it is not integrated resulting in lack of clear direction and obtainable goals. They maintained all positions as promised but we were never fully integrated so it was challenging from the client satisfaction perspective.
