Great Company to drive for
Mar 26, 2023 - Truck Driver in Columbus, OHRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
State of the art equipment, with lots of advanced and modern options. Lots of PTO, good pay and ability to complete additional training to increase pay
Cons
A few strong personalities in the office, but always professional just a little difficult to get along with.

Pros
Nice truck and nice terminal
Cons
Very low pay (.49 CPM), my dispatcher was extremely rude, the route planners are horrible! The route planners, (On every run), give you about 1 hour of a spair time to get to shipper or receiver even if it's a 2 day run, they dont fit in time to stop to use the restroom, eat, or even fuel. There were 6 people in my orientation and in 1 month, 3 of us quit, 1 month later a 4th person quit. Also, you can't take your truck home, they wanted me to park 80 miles (1 way) from my home when I got my 34 hours off, they said sometimes we'd get 48 hours at home and sometimes 34, that was a lie, I always got only 34 hours off. .49 CPM is class B job pay, nobody should ever make that pay for class A jobs, they said that we would get bonuses to make up for the low mile pay but thats every 3 or 4 months, nobody wants to make low pay and wait 3 to 4 months for the rest of the paycheck.

Awesome Company!!!
Jul 19, 2022 - Company Driver in Coxs Creek, KYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
*Lengthy review* I am flat out GREATLY impressed with this company!!! They are ALL really nice! I am speaking as a driver. Every time I have contacted ANYONE about ANYTHING, I am always met with respect (as I give them as well). They understand that things happen. It’s trucking! Lol! I’m being serious. Everyone is awesome; my recruiter (Caleb Gee), to my DM Derek Rabe as well as everyone I met during orientation (to include Brent Nussbaum). Not very often you meet the owner of the trucking company. The main office is REALLY nice! It kind of looks like a ski resort. Nussbaum is a Godly company and I appreciate that! That being said, they act like it. Respect, Honor and Integrity are the first three words that come to mind about this company. I mean that. There are no surprises at Nussbaum. At least, they do their utmost BEST to eliminate the possibility. The training is longer than most trucking companies, I feel. However, that’s their way of attempting to eliminate surprises. So, you HAVE to respect that. At Nussbaum, they understand what it takes to run a trucking company. The big aforementioned three and teamwork. It takes everyone from finance, to DMs, to recruiters, route planners, maintenance, etc. working together to keep wheels rolling forward. I can’t imagine driving for any other company. Nor, can I imagine why anyone else would want to drive for any other company!
Cons
I don’t have anything negative to say.

Pros
Great culture and they take care of you.
Cons
*Some* limited ability to grow into new roles.

Pros
They tell you their moto “Faith & Family” but they are all about profit, artificial safety, and treating people who don’t go and drink the koolaid at the church they own as trash.
Cons
Their equipment is maintained by a less than par workforce. They are more concerned with watching you on the inward facing camera then making sure you have a safe truck to drive

Pros
This company is more amazing than I could have ever imagined. I truly believe it is because the foundation of this company has beèn and continues to be built on the rock. The staff, all the way from Brent Nussbaum to the newest staff member, everyone is treated with the upmost honesty and respect. The benefits are almost unbelievable, including being employee owned. I am so blessed to be part of this journey.
Cons
They have a pet policy, but only allow 1 dog.
