I have been working at Nutrisystem full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very fair compensation. Yes you must hit metrics but most are reasonable. Good product that works.

    Cons

Customer service calls on the sales line impacts conversion and makes that monthly goal unreasonable.
It also causes our moral to drop. Sales people feel very under appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Only one supervisor on the floor seems to truly care and spend time with her team. Hire more managers and supervisors who don't just go through motions. Listen to our voices. We are Nutrisystem's voice to your customers. Please respect us!

    Pros

    Pay
    PTO
    Benefits
    Sort of flexible
Understanding of things that happen and cause you to miss work
love most of the people I work with and the atmosphere

    Cons

MANAGEMENT training was ok but I for certain did not like the fact that we were expected to take in so much information and remember it all. Then if we asked a question that we were un aware about they would simply reply "we went over that you should know this" As if we did not take in 3 WEEKS of information to the brain. There is also alot of communication issues one person tells you you can do this but then when you do it you get told that that is not how its done. Or you recieve an email from someone in management telling you how to handle certain situations one way then when you do it you get a email back from a Supervisor stating thats not how you do it . Also It issue was the supervisor DID ABSOLUTELY everythnh they could to NOT SPEAK with a customer over their concerns and left us to deal with it. We were expected to de escalate which is understanding and that does not work ALL the time as Im sure you would know so it was like we were on our own at times and it puts the pressure on us to drop call in the que. If we are team oriented why is this not followed

    Advice to Management

Communication skills Contact center should not be the last to know about promos that are given to future customers or customers It leads us to mess up our handling time because we have to research the information and that if its on sharepoint if not we have to reach out and wait on hold for a TL

    Pros

Enjoyed co-workers and clients. Metrics demanding now by January 2016 even tighter. Benefits and work environment good. Commission plus base. First 6 months of you will be working close to 7 days a week to make your numbers and will make most of your pay for the year by then.

    Cons

Client interactions fast paced, repetitive and missing a health disclosure (e.g. peanut allergy) once is automatic dismissal. There is very little to no allowance for sickness or vacation IF YOUR NUMBERS DROP.

    Pros

Great amount of vacation time. Has potential to get back to being a great environment since cleaning out some of the over-abundance of managers.

    Cons

Little to no room for growth. Still too many cooks in the kitchen. Only certain managers truly provide the training needed or the time for direction. Salaries also are not great for the work put out by employees.
