There has been growing pains across several tezms

Pros
Nylas offers a generous benefits package, which includes: competitive pay & equity, 90% employer paid premiums for health insurance (medical, dental, vision), $150 wellness stipend, $50 cell phone reimbursement, $1,000 personal/professional development budget, 401k match, unlimited PTO.
Cons
Nylas is growing very quickly and that comes with a set of challenges and growing pains. Benefits are not the same across different locations (US/Canada/EU).

Pros
As with most startups, it's fast-paced and dynamic. Everyone has a very enthusiastic team spirit to try to make this thing a unicorn. There's a good amount of opportunity to make a big impact and take ownership over large projects.
Cons
The company doubled in size last year and you can really feel the growing pains culturally. Teams don't know how to collaborate and there's miscommunication about roles & responsibilities. The product direction seems quite aimless: we're launching new products and features with no clear plan. It's a bit chaotic and leadership isn't really taking the reins.

Pros
The culture here is amazing! There’s a strong sense of team work, the openness and diversity of the team make it a very welcome environment, and everyone works hard because we all care about the company’s mission. The leadership here is outstanding in that they have really created an employee-centric workspace. Everyone is heard and respected as part of the team. The company provides a service that is in demand and customers are often relieved when they find the Nylas API and understand what it can do for them. In turn, this is creating a hyper growth opportunity for the company and it’s exciting to be part of that growth.
Cons
As with any growing company, there are some growing pains. There is more work to be done than there are resources. Nylas has a bent for rapid change and development, which can be jarring for some customers who expect things to always work a certain way.

Pros
Laid back, humble, and incredibly smart team. The work environment is very flexible and allows for lots of autonomy. Easy to propose ideas and see them through to completion.
Cons
Still working through some growing pains and communication issues between teams, but lately have had active support in improving these areas from management.
