Pros
- Parts discounts are great! - I’ve had nothing but good coworkers! Making lots of friends and memories. - No worry of unemployment bc they are in constant need of employees
Cons
- As a female, with both knowledge and real world experience, I worked my butt off for two years to get to RSS and got minimal raises (thinking it was normal). To find out every new and former male coworker of mine (many with zero knowledge or relevant experience) we’re starting out being paid .50-$1 more than me after two years of raises. - When confronting management about low and unequal pay, just looking for an answer, I was only met with “you aren’t supposed to discuss pay.” - My direct managers were great people. Management above them beginning with our DM micromanage and talk in circles if you confront them with issues. - Management does not recognize you for the good you do and extra hours you put in to help the company.

Pros
You get a really good discount on things in the store. That's about it.
Cons
Low pay, says they offer commission but you don't see it on your paycheck. Management will change your worked hours without you knowing and refuse to talk when you dispute it because 'we have to keep an eye on payroll.' Consistently put people who know very little about automotive in management positions. Those also have no experience in management before, or we're promoted to fast up into management. Customer service I backwards. The person in front of you is more important than that phone call. The phone can wait the person in front of you cannot. No raises when being promoted. Management goofs off when they could be helping associates on the counter. Threat or job loss happens everyday over the smallest things. From not getting something done quickly to using the bathroom for too long. No team building or work ethic within a team. Not allowed to talk to your coworkers about anything but work. Unable to get to know each other and communicate needs from outside of work to management because of this.

Pros
The employees are chill. The job is chill. It depends the store you work and who the manager is. The pay is low because the job is so chill.
Cons
They dont take you serious. You have to prove you belong. If you dont have ask for a promotion they wont offer it.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Flexible schedule, benefits, incentives, employee discounts.
Cons
Stressful sometimes, occasional rude customer, security systems lacking or non existing.

Pros
Since no one actually works there long it's hard to get fired.
Cons
Pay is horrible, if you need health insurance it will cost you half of your wages, and crappy work life balance. Pay $11.50 and hour, who can live on that? Benefits about $7000 deductible plus premium, and co pays. Stock options are 1 to 2 shares a year so you will never get enough to make a difference. If you get commission they pay it after a sales goal the set and raise if you do manage to reach it to minimize you making money. Long story short, o'reillys culture is keep you poor while they make billions.

Pros
Growing company, positive growth potential Above average benefits
Cons
Ongoing issues with stores being understaffed . Difficult to find employees that are willing to work , the lack of commitment to the job is a serious issue

Pros
Great benefits, people are great
Cons
pay is not that great

Pros
> discount on parts > that is ALL! and half the time, the discount isn't even worth it
Cons
> horrible management > overworked and underpaid > sexual harassment by manager > being hired for one job but doing everyone else's as well > not being appreciated > being "promoted" with no pay raises > rude customers > poor training (you know, IF they even trained you!) > health insurance is an expensive scam > they want you to put work first over EVERYTHING ELSE in your life > tons of other things, but yeah. that is all I will say for now
