I worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The good people you work with and the sunny days where you get to be outside for customers a lot.

    Cons

You're treated like a child. You do not think, do not innovate, do not pass go, go directly to work. Minimum wage plus a laughable commission (do the math and you'll see what I mean).

    Advice to Management

My store manager was fine. My assistant managers either were gods at their jobs or slept whenever they could get away with it. There is a large gap with no one in between the amazing and the horrible.

I have been working at O'Reilly Auto Parts (More than a year)

    Pros

I tried to think of anything good to say about this company but i cant.

    Cons

The whole place is a headache

    Advice to Management

Get it together. If you cant manage let someone else do it, stop pretending to try to do your job. It only hurts the team members who are trying to work. Stop treating employees like crap. Hire more people so we dont have to do the work of 10 people alone. Theres too much more.

I have been working at O'Reilly Auto Parts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I had a good manager, gained responsibility quickly in the company with room for advancement. Most of my coworkers were nice and competent.

    Cons

Manager often had too much work to do, so some of the overload got pushed to me, which was a little overwhelming as a new employee.

    Advice to Management

Hire more competent people. If all of your employees are complaining about a particular employee consistently, they are not a good fit and should be replaced.
