    I worked at O'connor & Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was good, actually better than most places I'd worked before.

    Cons

It is a very juvenile atmosphere. It's like working with a bunch of middle school children (meaning management). The management are improperly suited to run the department. There is a ton of favoritism towards unqualified and under-achieving staff members that the management would rather see stay on versus qualified people that take the job seriously.

    Advice to Management

The company needs new managers, preferably ones who are that work under them more mature in handling customer service representatives' issues when they need help with specific customer concerns. The place is like working in a kindergarten run by children.

    Advice to Management

Need to learn how to communicate. That's why they don't keep good staff

I have been working at O'connor & Associates (Less than a year)

    Pros

The job tasks are very easy. The office is pretty laid back. Calls can be back to back at times, but it is never continual. The schedule is M-F 8 to 5. Perfect! Commute to work is not bad at all. Getting hired was a piece of cake, It wasn't much that they ask or require of you at all.

    Cons

The people over the Customer Service Dept are unprofessional and can come off very rude at times. This is not something I enjoy dealing with daily. I expect my place of employment to demand professionalism. I respect others always and I would think management would use the same concept. They make faces at you for asking questions and they show how much they do not want to be bothered when you may really need help. It is easier to get help from a peer instead, which is horrible! Also, temp agency that hires you on wants to start you at 12 and they say this is for the first few months....even after 6 months, my pay rate never changed, but my workload did.

    Advice to Management

My only advice to management would be to have better attitudes and to be professional at all times. A manager should be able to tackle any difficult situation, including a person in training that is not quite grasping everything. You want to make your employees feel comfortable and happy to be working with your company!
