    Pros

    IGBT, Superjunction, trench MOSFET, Split gate power MOSFET, HEMP by GaN material, etc.

    Cons

    Not much team players. IC designs are weak and slow.

    Advice to Management

    Need to do more R&D with proper lib info search, paper studies, etc.

    I worked at O2Micro full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    This company used to have a good environment of innovation and continually developed their new products. IP is put in good priority. It collected many talented engineers, although a large portions of them left.

    Cons

    As the economy is getting tough, O2micro suffers. However, compared to the other corporations in this industry, O2micro goes too far and continually drop in performance since 2012. They have cut the majority of budgets for patents and are selling some of the departments.

    Advice to Management

    I have no advice for the management.

    There is a good atmosphere in office, flexible working ! Simply report system with CEO

    Cons

    Engineer lead sales team , totally different thinking it will cause different results!

    Great working environment. All executive management maintained an open door policy and possessed a hands on work style.

    Cons

    As with most companies, the benefits declined with the staff.

    great working environment. staff and collegues are friendly and engineers are very knowledgeable!

    Cons

    over 80% of engineers are located in overseas. sometimes it's becoming challenging to communicate and manage cross cutural differences between virtual teams.

    Excellent opportunities to learn and flexible working environment. Working with some of the best engineers in the industry makes my job easier and proud to be a part of the team.

    Flexible working style, you can work quite freely and get things done at your own pace. Learned some basic ideas.

    it is getting worse business in these two years in succesion, and the coporate is dizzy about its direction in the future development.
