    Pros

    -Lots of cheap/free booze
    -Good Parties 2x a year
-Since it is a big agency they have solid relationships in the industru, so lots of training and early access to stuff.

    Cons

    -No flexibility in policies
-Managing client expectation is a joke
-Still pitching new business when they can't staff/handle the business they have
-Seem to be incapable of promoting good employees

    Advice to Management

    -Stop hiring children
    -Promote people that deserve it
-make better use of the 6 month probation period and get ride of the people that cannot carry their weight

    I worked at OMD full-time

    Pros

    - Vacation and time off policy was very generous
    - Good, challenging work, I learned a lot but liked what I was doing
    - Managers were all very approachable and helpful

    Cons

    - Salary was horrible, barely enough to get by on
    - Company did have a lot of social events, but being in Finance we were basically excluded
    - A lot of late nights because senior managers would just put off/procrastinate on reporting until the due date, causing the entire department to have to drop everything and stay into the night
    - No documented processes, formal training.... knowledge only shared between employees who had been there a longtime leaving others scrambling to find information

    Advice to Management

Treat the Finance team with as well as you treat the media teams.
