Great corporate culture and certainly puts high value on benefiting society. Some Senior leadership very effective, but if so, did not stay long.
Cons
Does not pay well vs the going market and thus, accumulates less talented and inexperienced people. Many people there are going through the motions and simply pushing for a higher level title, which most of the time comes with little responsibility and resources.

-cool and very comprehensive lineup of products -exposure to interesting technology of some of the companies acquired by Omron -good sense and purpose company wide of having a business that does good for society and contributes to betterment of it

-base compensation is unimpressive for tech industry for the Bay Area -bonus compensation is so low they might as well get rid of it -bureaucracy seeps out of every pore of the company - it is difficult to get some things done because ‘it has to get run up to Japan’ (IE it will never get done) -health insurance is expensive for being ‘company-sponsored’ and just ok
