    Cons

I don't think that there's a downside with ON, Myabe there's a lot of work to do but I like that anyway.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at ON Semiconductor as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours are not too strict as long as employee get things done. Very cool company, fast growing, a lot to work on.

    Cons

Cool people, but most employee here have are old and have a family, the culture is a little less energetic for younger people, but it is very comfortable

    Advice to Management

Be more aware of the average age of the company, less young people may lead to lower chance to innovation.

I have been working at ON Semiconductor full-time

    Pros

    - The schedule was by far my favorite part.
    - You get a decent amount of breaks. ( 2 30 min. breaks, one 50 min lunch)
    - A very diverse workplace with many interesting people to meet.

    Cons

    - Some parts of your area are always very busy, like metrology in etch. In that place you hardly have any time to get a drink before theres something else to be done.
    - Low pay.. my base was 13.50, but about 15 with the night shift bonus.
    - Very repetitive work. In the beginning it's all exciting and different but it gets old really fast.

    Advice to Management

For places in an area that are generally very busy, add another operator. When an operator gets overwhelmed with work for 12 hours straight, 4 days straight they really start to hate their job.

I have been working at ON Semiconductor full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

This is a great place to get wide ranging experiences. You'll be asked to work a lot with great people. But there's always a lot of work and not enough resources. "Scrappy" is a good way to refer to the company. Lean and resilient.

    Cons

So much work. You'll be asked to do so much with so little. Be ready for a wild ride though. It'll be fun, but so challenging.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your performers. Stop waiting for your people to find other jobs to recognize them. Take care of them and they will take care of you, and not move to your competition.
