I have been working at ON Semiconductor full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

ON is reasonably aligned with the Semiconductor industry in terms of benefits, job independence, project funding and advancement. Work/life balance is reasonable and coworkers are welcoming.

    Cons

The pace is slow. If you're used to start ups, you won't find the work here to be as engaging.

    Advice to Management

Update the site in Phoenix, modern working conditions and IT would significantly reduce waste.

    Pros

Well managed company who is clear on their focus for drive for EBIT and their growth through acquisition Long standing management team knows their businesses well

A lot of reporting through different levels of management. Large monthly reviews means you are constantly reporting on a long list of metrics and have less time to actually do business.

    Pros

Great people, and a lot of opportunities. Good benefits and good compensation.

    Cons

Everyone is terrified of lay offs, but they don't happen often. Sometimes you are asked to use your vacation at the end of the year because of factory shutdowns.
