    Pros

    I have been working at One Convergence Inc. since a year and 4 months. Earlier there used to be services for other datacenter networking problems. Now we have our own product for datacenter networking which has a list of nearly 10 customers(billion dollar valuated) within 3 months. It's highly tech savvy company with nearly zero involvement of management.

    There wasn't great salary increment during product development, neither had any customer. But now customers are paying for Demo of the product apart from product purchase. Hence day to day perks like unlimited healthy snacks(which I find really good!), subsidy for lunch and free food at night have been increased a lot. There is good amount of freedom/recreation at work. A decent family health insurance as well as medical cash reimbursement is provided.

    Cons

    The only con which I feel is, lack of ambitiousness to expand the company. For a long run, the team required to make lot of innovative work and commercialize them. Also, I personally feel, hiring some of the fresh candidates from some local universities is not good way of team building, just by compromising talents for offered salary. There is an inherent Indian mentality at work at India center(like one should revere senior employs, seniority is preceded over talent, ignore tech solutions from fresh candidates without even verifying it), unlike western culture of work, Where as the people from US office(CEO and CTO, whom I talked very frankly), I find more team oriented, more friendly even at personal fronts, like to listen the fresh minds, never discourage any of the ambitious ideas irrespective of benefits to the company.

    Advice to Management

    Try to abolish that typical indian mentality at work. We are tech savvy company and the growth purely depends on the kind of talent we have.

    You get full chance to express your ideas to anyone in company.
    Higher management is very good and friendly.
    Good work culture.
    Flexible office time.

    Its start up.so won't find all luxurious facilities but that is fine.

    Please Fast up the process towards making startup to a big Company.

    Perfect place to be, if looking for a hands on job. Lot of learning opportunity

    Please do conduct outings at regular intervals.

    Continue on keep pushing new areas of learning opportunity. Really like the Dynamic nature of the business

    Pros

    Interesting and challenging work (but not in all projects)
    Office environment is very good
    Good colleagues and work culture
    Everybody is easily approachable. No procedures required to get things done

    Cons

    Need to put extra efforts throughout the year
    Constant deadlines, working through weekends
    Scope of Learning is high, but is restricted by lack of time
    Less salary compensation compared to industry

    Advice to Management

    Please give employees sufficient time to understand concepts and get things done, which will benefit both employee and the company. Also, remember that employees do have personal lives sometimes
