I have been working at ONEIDA TOTAL INTEGRATED ENTERPRISES full-time

    Pros

OTIE is a great place to be. It's got plenty of interesting, challenging work lined up and a talented staff to handle it. The company is relatively small (compared to AECOM or AMEC for example) so you really get to establish a sense of community with your fellow staff members and management alike. You aren't a number at OTIE and there is always someone you can ask for help if you need it. OTIE does a great job of making you feel like an important member of their team.

    Cons

Projects tend to be large and last a long time so you may not get to see a project through from start to finish

I worked at ONEIDA TOTAL INTEGRATED ENTERPRISES full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Only good if you fit into their click. If your a new guy, forget it. There loyal only to them selfs. Native American company, but less than 1% of Natives American work there. And it shows they would like to keep it that way.

    Cons

Some long term managers have no college education. Reviews are bias and unfair. I found that management we're unwilling to workout there issues will good empoyees. The average raise is way less than 5%.

    Advice to Management

Hire Native Americans in all management positions.

    Pros

I have worked at several engineering companies, large and small. OTIE is a perfect mix. Not to big - i.e. no cumbersome management bureaucracy; and not too small - i.e. plenty of challenging projects and good technical resource pool. Nice working environment. Plenty of opportunities for professional growth as the company has averaged >15% growth over the past 6 years.

    Cons

Well, like any company, it's work....

I have been working at ONEIDA TOTAL INTEGRATED ENTERPRISES full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible, great projects, talented employees and pretty good benefits.

    Cons

Need to introduce employees together throughout the company more. Difficult for new hires in other locations to just talk on the phone with HR for paperwork, video conference would work better! Need a better org chart or information on the Intranet for more day to day activities on who to contact.

I worked at ONEIDA TOTAL INTEGRATED ENTERPRISES full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

the company is small, you could reach managers easily

    Cons

horrible pay and benefits, managers are more worried about profit and bill-ability then their staff, no training what so ever and if you make mistakes you are scrutinized, you are pulled in different projects with each manager wanting you do their job first.

    Advice to Management

invest in your employees, more profits and projects will come if you treat your staff well.

    Pros

Small company, Good place to get a start in your field.

    Cons

No chance for increase in pay you will need to change jobs, Company issues a blanket pay increase that is less then inflation. Company puts no investment in you as an employee. Zero training for your field of work.
