    Pros

    Coworkers and management really try to help you be successful, from initial 4 weeks of training and ongoing one on one coaching sessions. Management is easy to talk to if you have any concerns.

    They often buy us lunch as a perk

    Cons

    If you do not have automotive knowledge, it might be challenging at first until your comfortable speaking about the products but they do go over the basics during training.

    Benefits could be improved somewhat also...

    Advice to Management

    continue following up with your employees and providing coaching sessions.
    Add more product training.

    The company is going through an exciting time of growth and transformation so there is alot going on. The culture and teamwork environment really makes coming to work enjoyable. Everyone in management seems approachable if we have questions

    I have been working at ONYX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    If you are a hard worker, this place is you. If you like a fast paced, rewarding environment then this place is for you. Once you build your business your sales will improve and you will enjoy all the perks! The supervisors will help you with the difficult calls, and coach you to improve if you want to learn. Training is 4 weeks long and the first two weeks are spent learning the websites and sales flows. The next two are on the job training with dedicated support. HR is always available to help for HR type questions. I have seen agents promoted into other roles, so there is also opportunity here.

    Parking - but they did just open a new lot with more space.

    Pros

    - Fast paced company but that makes the day go by quickly.
    - Cool products & discounts
    - Down to earth coworkers and managers who take time to try and help you accomplish your goals.
    - Constant snacks and food in the office

    Cons

    Need to get up and running quickly in Sales but we are provided ongoing coaching so it is doable.

    Advice to Management

    Continue expanding training & coaching sessions to ensure success for your sales people.

    Pros

    The people and the company vibe. There are a lot of company events and its a very casual environment. Everyone is friendly and enjoyable to work with. Coffee selection is great, so if you're a coffee drinker then youll be very happy. the company has tons of cool products and great perks outside of the typical benefits package.

    Cons

    Not a lot of places in the immediate area except for pizza and wawa (which isnt bad) but a few more options would be nice.

    Pros

    Onyx has a strong company culture and alot of employees who are really passionate about the products and industry we work in. Senior leadership point you in the right direction with any questions you have and treat you with respect.

    Cons

    Parking could be better but overall not much to complain about so far...

    Pros

    The support is one thing that they get right here. Although its high intensity, its a sales job, everyone does everything they can to help us close deals. Other companies I have worked for, the leads would take half the credit for the sale if they helped you close. Not here. They don’t just move on from you when you are struggling. I myself was not hitting goals at first and was worried I’d get fired. Instead they put more focus on me to help me where I needed to get. Open door policy is really pushed here. Any questions or concerns we have are addressed right away. The directors office is shared with the floor and her office is always open. HR keeps things fresh and always offering fun things to keep things exciting.

    Cons

    Get here early because the parking isnt great

    Excellent place to work. Very strong company culture and core values. Provides full training that actually prepares people for their job. Lots of coaching and development to get you up to speed quickly in sales and customer service. Management team is fantastic at helping you reach your goals and ramp to the next level of performance. Senior leadership empowers the team to make decisions that are best for the business.

    Cons

    Need more healthy food options in the area.

    Advice to Management

    Team is fantastic from team leaders, supervisors, managers, HR and owners! Very transparent and always willing to help! Keep doing what you do!

    Pros

    They make you feel like party of a family. They feed you good and they make sure you are happy. Love the structure they have as it gets better every day. Always have chances to move up. Very laid back place to work and they don't judge you on how you are as a person. Always Wiling to work with your hours to make sure that you are taken care of.

    Cons

    The drive is not the best but that has nothing to do with the company.

    Make sure that employees stay happy.

    ONYX affords employees to drive their own career path. If you have an idea and you do the legwork, you can take on projects that give you a sense of fulfillment!

    Every day is different, and adaptability is the key to success - which is most days a positive- but can be stressful from time to time.

    Giving teams the opportunity to take risks in new projects can lead to great rewards for the company as well as fulfillment for the team members involved! Putting more focus on long-term career paths as well as professional development will help retain already great employees
