I have been working at ORIX USA part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Japanese company called Orix is trying to expand by coming over to the United States of America. It is a necessary step for Orix if they really want to globalize.

    Cons

Con is that Japanese workers get paid less than american workers even if they are in the same position. Not fair for workers in that case.

    Advice to Management

Treat all workers equally, especially in terms of how much they get paid. Otherwise, it is a great company that is trying to expand and get bigger.

I worked at ORIX USA full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Consistent on time pay and good location downtown Dallas - sorry these are the only pros when working at ORIX. They don't care about you - only EBITDA

    Cons

Management has been struggling to get the employee buy in since they made some major overhauls. Looks like they've promoted a manager or 2 that are not ready to be managers.

    Advice to Management

Train your managers or hire smarter managers - treat your employees better - listen to them - stop hiring 'Yes Men'. How about a female executive and HR doesn't count!!

    Cons

Management is clueless from the top down. Human Resources is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Hire a competent CEO and clean house in the C-Suite

I have been working at ORIX USA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is friendly and they have an awesome cafe! The benefits are great and bonuses too! Management is very helpful and not micromanager. Put in about 40-50 hours a week which is not bad.

    Cons

Opportunity for advancement is tough because it is a great, but small company and turn over rate is low. There are people there for years in the same position. Other than that it's good!

    Advice to Management

    Nothing! 😉

Senior Management continues to line their pockets at the expense of employees. Ownership still asleep at the wheel.

    Advice to Management

    Strategy would be helpful.
