    Pros

Nice co-workers with a family feel.

    Cons

Work/life balance, advancement opportunities, career development, recognition and salary.

    Advice to Management

Promote and develop internally. Reward and recognize top performers. Learn how to work with all types of people, not everyone responds well to the old 1980's management style.

    Pros

Overtime pay was good compared to other companies in the industry for salaried employees.

    Cons

You know, this is a company where management dominates your life. They will make your life terrible, just because they take enjoyment in it. I'm not talking about one particular department but the plant as a whole. If you have new ideas, innovations, etc. They do not want to hear it. you will work 12-15 hours a day, every day, 7 days a week. Coming into work knowing your going to get crap from your superiors. This company will make you hate your life, and honestly with the overtime the way it's set up it's almost worth it to be an hourly employee as opposed to salary. You're a pawn in a game of chess and will be treated as such. Do not work here, it's not worth it, the moments you miss with your family, you're life will go right by and management couldn't care less.

    Advice to Management

Actually show you have the least bit of compassion for your employees.

    Pros

Great hour's for shift's. Decent benefits

    Cons

unorganized, safety issues, unprofessional management , favoritism, schedule conflicts.

    Advice to Management

Your gonna need to take another look at all the safety violations going on in this plant before someone else get's hurt or possibly killed. and something needs to be done about favoritism in department management, while i worked there i noticed alot of that goin on. The human resource department needs alot of work, seems like english is becoming a second language in that department.

I worked at OSI Group LLC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

As an employee for OSI Group and its subsidiaries, you are working for a company that has great goals and culture. It also comes with great perks and benefits package for all employees (hourly and salaried). A very solid leadership and senior management team.

    Cons

Limited growth opportunities for hourly employees. Depending on department or field, work can be very demanding and can interfere with school or personal obligations.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on the basics. Become passionate in the work you do.
