CEO demeans Sr employees. Swears and threatens employees in front of other Sr management.

I will cut your .... off and stuff them down your throat until you choke to death (said in front of other management at a monthly business review)

    Advice to Management

    None

    Pros

It can be fun. They try to have team building activities. Anything goes at work and you don't have to hold your personality back.

    Cons

Management is unprofessional and lacks communication skills. The problem stems from the top down. There's a lot of nepotism and favoritism and the only way to move up is by blindly agreeing with management despite what you think.

    Advice to Management

Improve communication and try to align all the various departments and subs within the company.

I have been working at OSI Systems full-time

    Pros

    a) Not too much work pressure

    Cons

    a) No proper policies in place.
    b) Very little employee future oriented
    c) Bad pay master
    d) Too many unnecessary politics at work place
    e) Bad , Very bad HR.. they do not follow an open door policy at all. Very laid back.
f)Management still thinks that Indian employees can be taken for granted.. they need to have proper policies being set here.
g)Everything is so bottle necked .
    h)No proper communication channels.
    i) Very poor infrastructure. more often than not the team here gets used and worn out stuff from the USA..

    Advice to Management

Please do something more than just taking blind decisions and taking the employees here for granted. Please look outside there are many more companies within a radius of a few miles that are ready to offer jobs to your employees. IF they are still hanging around, please understand their loyalty and treat them accordingly.. Please roll out employee surveys to find out the truth.. Just visiting the office once ina few months and holding all hands meet is not enough... Most of the senior managers sit in their respective offices and do nothing...

In my experience, the majority of the people are very nice to work with. An easy place to be if you are on good terms with your team members/management.

    Cons

There are so many challenges to have requests completed in a timely fashion that can be due to either: logistics/politics/ineptitude/laziness.The company can also be very "cheap".
