I worked at OTG Management part-time

    Pros

-The non-management people you work with are awesome
-Some managers recognize the weaknesses of the company and do their best to shield you from them
-Decent opportunity for advancement if you 'play the game' well

    Cons

-The pay for jobs relying on tips (like a satellite bartender) is horrendous in some locations. Some people go home without enough to pay for the Uber they took to get to work on time in the morning.
-Some management-level recruiters flat out lied about opportunities, hours, and potential for pay available right off the bat.
-Opportunity for advancement is tied to favoritism and being able to deal with less than ideal pay

    Advice to Management

Review your recruiters' pitches and the OTG University team that trains incoming team members because the majority of what I heard in 'orientation' turned out to be anywhere from misleading to purposefully deceitful and manipulative.

    Pros

Good company to get your foot in the door. Free food, good benefits.

    Cons

Promise and fail- Manager promises to raise your hourly rate after 3 months, contacted them and they did nothing about it.

    Advice to Management

Keep to promises and always put the interest of employees to heart.

I worked at OTG Management full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

make a meal while management's down stairs they usually go on about 7 smoke breaks a shifts. half off meal. paid weekly.

    Cons

you don't get breaks. then when they don't like you they start writing you up for not taking a break. favoritism is everywhere aswell as management talking openly and disrespectful about employees behind their backs. very low staff so the good people get broken down by picking up the heavy work load of workforce. nasty conditions in the kitchen without knowledge of health safety codes and health standards. there was a mad scramble everytime there was a health inspection. intimidation and bribery is the language of management. empty promises and excuses where said so employees would stay longer and work while management went home. hazardous working conditions I was burned weekly due to not being provided the correct equipment.

    Advice to Management

happy employees= extra production, good enviorment, and higher standards.

I worked at OTG Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are looking to make some easy money, this is your job. It was short lasted because I couldn't balance work and school, but i enjoyed my time there. Easy job making good money and had fun doing it. You get paid weekly which was a plus. It was a full-time job, which is good for the summer time. Employees get 50% off food and drinks.

    Cons

I hated being put in places that were slow and had less traffic because it made time go by slow and I was bored to tears. So, if you are lazy and want to make easy money, being put there is the place for you.
Because this job is located at Newark Airport, the process to start working there is long and when you actually start, the employees have to go through TSA and wait in the long line with other travelers. You would at least have to get to work 20 minutes early, so you are not late.
