    OT is MFS (Mobile Finance Solution) and completely challenging environment and scope to learn new technology every day.

    Cons

    Lack of resources. People will jump into multiple projects

    - Got to meet lots of cool people - Always busy, steady work - 8/10 Structure

    Cons

    - People have been working the same position for 10+ years - Minimal raises, no bonus - Very repetitive work, can get boring - Executives had little/no idea what happens in the production floor

    I have been working at Oberthur Technologies full-time

    Pros

    Learn a lot quickly from product development and industrialization to machine acceptance to process improvement to floor support. Good place to gain experience in a variety of machinery and engineering tools to take to the next opportunity.

    Cons

    Flat organizational structure. No room grow after the first 2 years. If you are happy to be a staff engineer, no problem. But if you aspire to more, it can be tough to progress.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on talent retention. Build the technical ladder to allow people to progress within the company.

    Interesting people dedicated people Great schedule

    Cons

    Tries to pay employees the bare minimum Very high turnover No true advancement. When there is, it’s usually favoritism vs actual work ethic. Favoritism always wins. Forced to take time off due their very unsteady work flow.

    Advice to Management

    Actually pay attention to your hardworking and dedicated employees. They feel mostly looked over and under appreciated. Making people do several people’s job at once to compensate for your lack of staffing is wearing your team down.

    Horrible company to general employee base Every year it gets worse than the last Corporate just finds more to take away High turnover Horrible benefits package No bonuses or incentive Work/Life balance is 100% work based Comapny DOES NOT CARE about employee well being or health!

    There are some absolutely amazing people working at OT. Work is fairly easy, lots you can learn, some growth potential, decent wages for a short term gig.

    Cons

    but the company philosophy does not tend to look after the individual Wages are less than they should be in the financial industry Production floor is full of allergens Third shift is like the red headed step child, always forgotten except when something goes wrong, then always blamed. Secrecy on if someone is being looked at for an internal position. Don't plan to stay long because the skeletons come out of... the closet the liver you stay. There is a revolving door of employees, not a great business model, especially for the industry

    Advice to Management

    If you say that a temporary employee is eligible for permanent after 6 months, actually evaluate them and let them know at that point. Communication needs to improve. Your secrecy has lost so many excellent employees. For permanent employees, give them actual raises each year. $0.17 /hour is NOT an actual raise, especially if that is what happens year after year. You will not be keeping employees long, especially... not new hires. Considering the secure nature, you should care more about employee retention, particularly in your production departments ... The departments that get the least care now.
