    Pros

People are exceptional and work very well as a team; everyone is very helpful and burden-sharing is in practice all the time

    Cons

Location. Company competes on price, which is never a good place to be. Price wars mean projects are prices below value and bonuses don't exist

    I worked at Observant full-time

    Pros

Nice small team of 8 in USA, good comradery, decent health plan and company paid benefits.

    Cons

Leadership (owners) always get a new idea and shift sales and product strategies, which has a negative impact on sales. The company faces challenging competitors and struggles to differentiate itself in the market. Extremely high turnover of professional staff at Australian HQ.

    Advice to Management

Delegate and get out of the way.

I worked at Observant full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The work is interesting if you enjoy looking at business patterns and the pharmaceutical industry. Waltham is a great place to work because it is fairly central.

    Cons

Unfortunately the management has no regard for entry level positions. Like many large firms, you are overworked and underappreciated - but in a company of about 20 people with little to no reputation on a national level.

    Pros

Very Competent Partners and Directos, Very Laid back atmosphere, Ability to work on very interesting projects. Learn a lot about Market Research

    Cons

Management can be a bit paternalistic, limited opportunity for promotions.

  5. "Great company culture, somewhat limited opportunities for growth"

    Pros

Good work-life balance, attracts a fun employee group, does high-quality work for a firm of its size

    Cons

Remote location in the suburbs, growth opportunities need to be more expansive since this is a smaller organization

    Advice to Management

Culture is great, resources devoted to professional development at the junior levels would be mutually rewarding for the firm and employees

  6. "Good place to start off your college career"

    Pros

The people are good to work with, and it's great tha the people there are always willing to help. The collegial atmosphere takes the pressure off of deadlines. Very friendly, and lots of young people. The monthly get togethers are fun and always a good time. No up or out policy, and no closed door policy with the higher ups. They are always willing to help out and listen if you have problems. They try to do a good job with staffing, so that people aren't overwhelemd and you do get a say in which projects you want, although that is not entirely possible.

    Cons

The pay could be more competiive, since starting off the pay is not great compared to other consulting firms.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that newcomers are aware of the career path, and how they can get there

    Pros

good methodologies, intelligent people, opportunities to learn

    Cons

middle management doesn't stay very long, difficult to come in with new ideas, salary gaps illogical, work-life balance suffers

    Advice to Management

re-evaluate business model- something is not working and is making people want to leave.

Verwacht deadlines te halen en te worstelen voor die interviews met proefpersonen.
