    Pros

    If you are a great problem solver and contract driven, there is plenty of room for advancement.

    Cons

    The company tends to try to take on contracts that they are not equipped to handle or have very little knowledge of.

    Advice to Management

    Need to be more diligent about gathering ALL of the information needed to take on additional responsibilities and duties by checking with middle management to be sure duties can be accomplished.

    Pros

    Great way to gain experience in a vast amount of office settings with different responsibilities. I enjoyed going to law firms one day to make copies of their important documents to going to a Pharmaceutical company as a receptionist or mail room clerk. Many different roles are offered to learn from and experience.

    Cons

    As a floater - we traveled to different companies in the metro-Atlanta area to work. Travel time and expense can be costly. In Atlanta - we sometimes had to pay for parking downtown and there was no validation. Raises can come more ofter. Was there for 2 years and had to beg for measily raise I did receive before being let go.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees better monetarily.

    Options to work for many different clients

    Cons

    No chance to move up because the organization is so flat. Now it is part of Canon, I don't know if that is better.

    Advice to Management

    Put together some succession planning and develop your high potential employees.

    can move up if your under the right supervisor.

    Cons

    alot of politics and can cause you to not get ahead .

    Advice to Management

    hire within and listen to the Mail Clerks they know the Daily Operation just as better as some of the supervisors

    Location, great staff, decent client base.

    Cons

    Starting salary, favoritism, nepotism and annual increases.

    Advice to Management

    Stop sleeping with your charges and giving increases to people that don't deserve them

    I have been working at Océ Business Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    They staff other company's mail rooms. You might get lucky and end up in a big firm, access to some good health insurance which they almost always brings up first.

    Cons

    Low Pay, no job growth. unless you want to work in a mail room for the rest of your life, you won't like it. Since they outsource, the companies you actually work for isn't eligible for internal promotion.

    Cons

    Too much abfuscation and prevarification by people who should know better. Leadership really needs to take a class on morale and employer/employee relationships.

    Treat your people like people, not statistics and tools.
