Fantastic work environment for self-motivated technical people. The Oceaneering culture is condusive to those that are self motivated and driven. There are lots of opportunities for the ambitious.

Cons

The same culture that works for self-motivated individuals does not work as well for those that are not used to blazing their own trail. Be prepared to do the work to learn the culture, the technology, and the industry when you join.

-High standards for electrical assembly and panel wiring. -Mostly clean and safe work environment. -Organized work flow.

-The higher in management, the more unpleasant and less productive the people were. -Bad corporate culture. My bosses were scared of their bosses. Their bosses were nasty and inappropriate in meetings. -Someone died due to a lack of safety measures in place to maintenance something. I wrote the correct safety procedures. My bosses didn't change anything to make this process safer, so I quit.

Down to earth employees. Great management staff. Welcoming and interactive work environment.

do not see the outdoors all day when working in the cubicals

Great company with a very diverse product and service offering. Job was challenging and rewarding, but not overwhelming. Work environment was always relaxed and fun.

Management was always overwelmed due to dealing with other departments shortcomings. This led to a lack of management in their own department. Quality control was questionable at times and showed no signs of improving.

Very close communications with co-workers, family oriented, hard workers with great work ethics

There aren't any, unless you know someone who is there already who can look out for you

Toxic environment, prevalent bullying, and no support from HR. If your face 'fits' you'll do just fine. Heavy on micromanagement and the work environment feels very authoritarian. They do not like change and happy to work on the way things have always been done and staff like to talk about the 'good old days'
