    Pros

Products are great and has lots of potential in the market.

    Cons

Management fails to recognize good employees. Politics is so big in this company. They practice the saying it is who you know and what you know.

    Advice to Management

    Remove politics in the company

    Pros

The biggest reason why I would go back to work at Oceanwide is the people. I met some of the most talented and experienced at Oceanwide.

    Cons

Because the company has been acquired by Insurity, Makes current systems and processes even more difficult to change.

I worked at Oceanwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Really just their product and recent growth after they got acquired. There are many job opportunities since the product sells well but it is still unstable and under development. But employee turnover is low.

    Cons

Too many cons to the point they are outnumbering the pros. Very poor management whether when it comes managing people, or the management experience implementing enterprise software. Product evolved fast in the last 6 years or so but management didn't. Some managers lack solid soft skills which is ironic. Some managers abuse authority and some just don't care. They don't listen to suggestions or show appreciation for good work. Expect growing workload but no compensation or benefits. Workload is constantly increasing but some in management don't have the knowledge to cope with that to even it out between team members. No process, it's chaos!!! The company culture is really cheap. For example, they don't fix what's broken in the office, they don't care if your career aspirations are inline with the opportunities at hand, don't compensate for the enormous workload. Employees turn over is extremely low. People leave fast. Senior management apologize for some management but make no remarkable effort to groom them.

    Advice to Management

Some senior managers and managers need to improve their soft skills.
