I worked at Ocwen Financial full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

You get a check every two weeks.

    Cons

They lay off twice a year EVERY year. They only value their employees over seas because they can pay them less. This company should be a last resort job option. In about 2/3 years they will only have over seas employees.

    Advice to Management

When you lay off employees, don't tell them " Feel free to use me as a business reference"...GTFOH. Why would I use you as a reference and I was laid off...IDIOT!!

I have been working at Ocwen Financial full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Interesting work
    Room for growth
Collaborative environment- depending on where in the company you work
    Decent salaries and benefits
Recent efforts to update the culture to become a more positive employee experience
Overall I've seen remarkable change over the years, some good and some bad. As Ocwen continues its efforts to right size, improve technology and drive culture change I think the employee experience is greatly improving. There is still much to be done but I see the company moving in the right direction from both a business and employee perspective.

    Cons

Work life balance can be difficult to achieve depending on your role
Management direction has been lacking but seems to be improving
Favoritism is rampant, and should be addressed
It's unfortunately a typical corporate environment, but life isn't fair so you either accept that or move on

    Advice to Management

Keep working to improve the culture
keep improving internal communication, it really does make a difference
    Hold Sr Leaders accountable
Talk to employees at all levels in all areas to understand what their challenges are
