I have been working at Office Concierge full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The next 7th of August it will be a year that I am working for Office Concierge. It has been my first experience as corporate receptionist and I have had a great year. I have been promoted two times and today i am the Reception Manager of one of the most iconic buildings in the City of London with four direct reports, also the company has given me the opportunity of being enrolled in a Level 3 Management Course for a year to develop my management skills.
Office Concierge/managers are very supportive and I cannot be more grateful for the position that they offered me a year ago which was start of an fantastic professional career for me.

    Cons

No Comments. My experience is being very positive.

I worked at Office Concierge part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have several good locations, however, they will choose the work place for you.
I enjoyed the working environment in a high end location.

    Cons

    - Bad Management
    - Rude staff
    - unprofessional HR team
    - little to no communication or miscommunication
    - constantly changing administrator managers

    Advice to Management

One way to improve the quality of the HR could be to employ more people. Every time I called the office, the staff seemed always very stressed out and overworked.

I worked at Office Concierge full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Met and worked with some amazing people
Good experiences and learnt lots as well as seeing London
A good role to get your foot in the door & gain some experience.

    Cons

Account managers are rude - never was introduced & asked others about me in front of me
OC doesn't care about you as an employee - you are told that the contract means more to them than you
Huge elite turnover - treated as a number rather than a person
If you as an elite are treated unfairly - you will not get any say as the contract means more to them
If you go for this job. Remain positive and an open mind or you will be driven insane. Get on to gain experience - OC will sell you a dream

    Advice to Management

Look after Elites & they will look after you
