Met and worked with some amazing people Good experiences and learnt lots as well as seeing London A good role to get your foot in the door & gain some experience.
Cons
Account managers are rude - never was introduced & asked others about me in front of me OC doesn't care about you as an employee - you are told that the contract means more to them than you Huge elite turnover - treated as a number rather than a person If you as an elite are treated unfairly - you will not get any say as the contract means more to them If you go for this job. Remain positive and an open mind or you will be driven insane. Get on to gain experience - OC will sell you a dream

Good experience
Oct 26, 2018 - Front Desk Receptionist in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Before my interview with OC I looked at Glassdoor to check reviews and I was worried to see a lot of negative feedback. Luckily my experience with the company was really good so far. I guess it really depends on a site and people you work with. I started as an Elite but very shortly I got a static role in one of sites where I've spent 2 years. I was lucky to work within nice team. Over 2 years I've had 3 different account managers and all of them were very lovely people. My current manager Kirsty is so approachable, she listen to what you say and makes things happen! So just an advice to everyone who reads this and considering to join OC. Dont get pulled off by negative comments. You might have a good experience like me. Good luck!
Cons
Need to book holidays quite in advance to get the days you want

A very supportive Account Manager
Cons
Starting as an Elite but with experience and patience is possible to have a static postion.

(Elite Temp) Avoid if Possible - there's better temp options out there

- Occasionally meet and work with amazing people - Long days paid by the hour means salary can be good - Some HR staff very helpful
Cons
- Bad management - Zero contact with account manager - Irrelevant training - Uniforms left unwashed for weeks (at certain sites) - Expected to turn up 40 mins early to collect uniforms and walk across sites - bad management which ultimately means your time is taken (unpaid). - Left to train new members of staff even though only worked at the site for a week - Left to deal with situations when management at the site all went on holiday and problems occured - Repetitive work (could be seen as a pro if you want something easy) - 500 gbp taken from final pay check until uniform returned (which I was not informed about until I resigned)
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
- Good buildings (if you are lucky enough to be placed in one) - Good support from the management team - Perkbox
Cons
- Barely any benefits (healthcare, travel, maternity) - Attrition of staff especially account managers and elites is very high - Pay could be better - Better acknowledgement for longevity would be appreciated - No room for progression - Bonuses could also be improved
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★

Cons

Pros
I have been working as an Elite lunch cover for over a year. The hours are great, especially for parents' who have young children in school/nursery. I thoroughly enjoy my role as I get to cover different sites, where I carry out a variety of duties and get to have a change of environment. All the Office Concierge receptionists that I have met have been lovely. Not to mention the support that you get from your Account Manager (mine being Daniel) and Team Leader (Selma). Both are always there to help with any issues whether big or small.
Cons
I don't have anything negative to say about the company.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. As we ensure that our clients are provided with the highest level of service, it is at the discretion of your manager to extend the probationary period. This would always be communicated to you with an explanation and any formal meetings would have an impartial HR representative present. We also encourage our team members to add their own comments to the probation review form to ensure the conversations are balanced. We would like to assist you personally with this so please feel free to contact our HR manager, Laura Rouse directly: laurarouse@officeconcierge.co.uk The OC Team
