    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Ohio BWC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is generally a stable job, once you get in. There is a wide variety of roles here, with a high level of diversity, social support, and good benefits. If you are a bargaining unit member, you currently get regular raises. The training and tuition assistance and reimbursement programs are really good, and I do love getting so many holidays off.

    Cons

I can only speak for my own experience of course, but my job is repetitive, generally mindless, and socially isolating. While theoretically there is a lot of room for growth and development, I feel stuck and stagnating most of the time.

    Advice to Management

Allow for a greater level of cross training and lateral movement, and please consider implementing more remote working or tele-commuting,

I worked at Ohio BWC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

if you want an experience that will match your interests and field of study, I highly recommend the BWC. My supervisor and the employers around me truly care about the work that I did. With that said, be open minded and take any opportunity given because it will, at the very end, be worth it.

    Cons

    1) Being an external applicant, it is VERY difficult to be reviewed by hiring managers as the first dibs for employment opportunities goes to bargaining unit/union members.

    2) No room in my position for me to move up in my career at the Bureau d/t strategic planning and development
