    Pros

Great co-workers treat you like family, the management was really friendly and want you to succeed.

    Cons

The customers can be very rude and disrespectful. Leave complete messes, and don't control their kids. Also way too much work for one server to keep everyone happy during peak hours

I worked at Old Country Buffet part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This place really taught me some life long lessons. You are expected to work very hard by your bosses. You have multiple bosses which helps in giving different perspectives on different things

    Cons

The bad things about this place is that management continuously changes. Moreover, your hours are always being cut. Many times, I would not even be able to get a lunch break.

I have been working at Old Country Buffet (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with. This is a great job if you are just starting out like a high school student.

    Cons

Standing for long hours. You have to pay for meals when you are around food all day. Clean can be a pain on the weekend when people are not watching their kids...

I have been working at Old Country Buffet part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some costumers treat you like a friend Free dessert and ice cream...when you're on break apparently. Nice coworkers

    Cons

POOR training. You don't get use to the job, you just find ways to make things easier for yourself The managers surprise you with new tasks Fast pace

    Advice to Management

The training is the worst. Since you know the job best, why don't you come to show a new task to the worker instead of screaming when something someone NEVER knew about is done. Why have busy workers try to train someone else?
