I have been working at Old Dominion Freight full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hours are nearly always available if you ask. They will help you get your CDL if you ask to be a driver, so there is room for some promotion. Some cross-training is also available. Works on organization for smoother operations.

    Cons

Software is outdated and crashes often.

    Advice to Management

Update software to be more efficient and crash less often. Newer forklifts with side shift/open close forks would be appreciated.

I worked at Old Dominion Freight full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Pay and Health Benefits are great, but don't let those two get you stuck there if they management is not willing to help you grow.

    Cons

Favoritism, Operations Managers take advantage of overworking 1 or 2 dock workers, while ignoring all others.

    Advice to Management

There are workers willing to put in extra work. Be willing to take time and develop more of your resources at hand, stop relying on 1 or 2 workers and completely overworking them.
