    Pros

Above average pay for industry. Good work life balance. Depending on location, great team members. Great community based organization.

    Cons

Fee crazy, if you're not apart of certain cliques you will never get promoted. Certain managers have free reign to come and go as they please.

    Advice to Management

Monitor middle management better, get rid of crazy fees. Break up the "girls club" in the Lafayette area.

I worked at Old National Bancorp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The dress code is casual in the mortgage office, sneakers and jeans. The job itself is tolerable, if you enjoy staring at two computer monitors eight plus hours a day.

    Cons

It's an office full of women, so there is a lot of cattiness and gossip. Also, your collegues will go out of their way to try to tattle and make you look bad to management. Speaking of management, they are completely clueless, overpaid, morons who are running the mortgage division into the ground.

    Advice to Management

I want to say, be more intelligent, but they probably wouldn't understand my meaning.

    Pros

Still some good front line staff and back room support still remain.

    Cons

Former Anchorbank upper management remaining credit any merger success to themselves. The period prior to merger was very hard on branch and support staff level.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of any remaining Anchor employee with a title of AVP and higher

    Pros

Management knows you and shows you they like your efforts. They really were concerned with assisting me in advancing and moving forward.

    Cons

Once they started buying up other banks, the advancement opportunities seemed to drop out. There were some issues with upper management, but not horrid.

    Advice to Management

Look to advance from within and not just from the purchased banks.
