I worked at Old Navy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Love the product and the environment. There were a lot of people met during a shift. Love getting to know their personality and what they were looking for, and to be able to partner with them in finding the right product to meet their needs.

    Cons

Communication was not prevalent. While training g was available, there was no way to identify the go-to manager to obtain more shifts or additional training to progress in skills.

    Advice to Management

Provide a communication tool, or leads for contact.

I worked at Old Navy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Gap Inc. has a great starting pay with awesome employee discounts. It's an upbeat environment with fun people.

    Cons

As with any retail store, you have to work under pressure when the store is very busy. Sometimes you'll be scheduled for not-so-great hours, especially during the holiday season. Again, that's any retail store, not just Old Navy. Also, definitely wear comfortable shoes!

    Advice to Management

Flexibility with scheduling is very important. I thought you all were very fair with scheduling, so keep up the good work and continue to listen to your employees.
