I worked at Old Navy (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits: health, dental, vision, employee discount and 401k
I had a great team that was like family and fun to work with.

    Cons

Lots of upper management turnover, and district politics.
Due to how busy most of the stores are it's hard to give and get the proper training each role needs to be successful.
Tons of wasted payroll on preparing for big corporate visits.

    Advice to Management

Corporate should not expect a perfect store when they come to visit. The amount of payroll that is wasted on "preparing" a store for a visit like that is ridiculous. Give the hours instead to help us give better training and more time for merchandisers so we can better help the customers experience!
