I have been working at Omeros full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small and growing company means opportunities for collaboration and greater individual impact and influence in decisions. Great pipeline with lots of potential. Management that is engaging and cares about professional development. I love the team I work with and it is the best part of my job.

    Cons

Small and growing company also means all hands on deck.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on long term goals and leave the day-to-day to people you trust to run the operations of the company.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Lots of potential if managed correctly

    Cons

Manage by fear. There are a lot of bullies here. The CEO needs to let go and trust his team. If you push back to much you won't last.

    I worked at Omeros full-time

    Pros

Interesting things in the pipeline. Lots of growth, which made me think that there would probably be opportunities to move into higher level jobs.

    Cons

The opposite of the pros. Lots of growth = growing pains, like not knowing who all the new people are. I don't think that changes were being communicated very well.

    Advice to Management

Communications could be better. When I was there, it was difficult to figure out what was going on. Otherwise, stay the course.

    Pros

People are very friendly, scientific minded, and helpful.

    Cons

No developed career ladder. Pay increases did not seem merit based.

    Advice to Management

Pay increases need to be more merit based and centered around performance reviews. Not a general percentage.
