Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on Omni's Glassdoor page. We value the feedback we receive from our contractor community. As a contractor with Omni, you select the shifts that give you the work / life balance we all want and need. We are glad to see this was a great fit for you. With contractor roles, gigs are based on client needs. There may be times when call volume is low and the client advises we reduce hours. We encourage you to partner with other work from home contractor roles to assure you are earning the revenue you need to generate the income needed. Because these are contractor roles, we do not pay for certification but do offer incentives once you meet the requirements. We want our contractors to know we appreciate all of their hard work, and we can do this by offering incentives along their journey. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. We. hope you return to the Omni platform soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on our Omni Glassdoor Business page. Omni reviews all of the feedback we receive from our contractor community as it helps us know what is working and where change is needed. We encourage you to send an email to Sue.Kelly@oioteam.com with more details regarding your certification / training. What can we do differently? We want to make the necessary changes so this is not the experience of another contractor, and your feedback will help us do this. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Zero Growth Options

    Feb 28, 2023 - Independent Agent

    Business Outlook

    Pros

You can work from home You can create a personal relationship with your clients which is fun

    Cons

Instead of promoting anyone who's successfully worked a project for a longer period of time they will simply replace the account managers with a stranger. (I've gone through 3 account managers in the last 3 years). My original pay started at $13.50, and after the first year was bumped back down to $13. There has been 0 cooperation regarding possible raises/bonuses after 3 years. Omni is more concerned with making sure you don't go over 40hrs than they are about the actual work you do. It doesn't matter if you're their best contractor, you will not get any praise and if you go over 40hrs by even a couple minutes on accident they will remind you that your contract is at risk.

    Omni Interactions Response

    GIG Talent Vendor Manager

Thank you for sharing your experience working as a contractor with Omni. Omni is people first with a culture second to none. We value the feedback we receive from our contractors. When you partner with Omni and a growth opportunity opens, these roles are posted on our portal for the contractor community to review. We know a contractor who has already partnered with Omni is the best candidate for those support roles. We encourage you to watch our internal portal for these roles to be posted. Should we not have anyone in our contractor pool who is a fit for a specific role due to skillset, we do open these up to the public, but this is for a very skillset. Raises are not part of a contractor role but by moving into a support role, there is potential for an increase in wages. Increased revenue growth means more contractors and clients partnering with Omni. With a contractor role, there is not overtime and by assuring our contractors do not go over 40 hours, we do not have that confusion with overtime not being paid. Again, a contractor roles does not come with benefits, bonuses or pay raises but gives you the flexibility to have the work / life balance we all want and need . Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you remain a part of the Omni Platform for a long time.

    Pros

Able to make your own schedule and get paid weekly.

    Cons

Extend the time for background checks to come back before you just decline someone from a position. Took them a whole month to complete my background from the vendor they use should find another vendor to do their backgrounds.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience while working on the Omni Platform. Omni values the feedback we receive, and we review every response to see where change is needed and what is working. As a contractor with Omni, you select that shifts that give you the work/life balance we all want and need. Our community spoke and we did change the pay from biweekly to weekly. We are glad to see this is a great fit for you. Omni uses a third-party vendor for our background checks and we do not have control of the results or the time frame it takes to get those results. We have established a fair time frame that is typical for a background check to be returned and this is the data we use. Some have their background returned immediately, others take up to 30 days. Please keep in mind once you pay the background fee, your background results are good for 6 months. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We hope you return to the Omni Platform soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on our Omni Glassdoor Business page. Partnering with Omni as a contractor gives you the flexibility to have work/life balance and that is something we all want and need. When Omni partners with a client, they provide the hours they need coverage. This can change due to client needs but keep in mind these are contractor roles and hours are not guaranteed. We do encourage our contractors to select the hours they wish to service Omni's clients when the hours are released. Even waiting a day can reduce the number of hours available. Again, thank you for your feedback and we hope you return to the Omni Platform soon!

Great Place to Start Working From Home

    Jun 2, 2022 - Facilitator

    Pros

-Flexibility - Set your own schedule - work from home with zero experience I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Omni Interactions. I started as a phone rep (GBA) and moved into a support role for the Facilitators (trainers) and eventually became a Facilitator myself. I was only there for 8 months so the growth was pretty quick! The people were great and the freedom to set my own schedule was amazing. Not to mention you get to try different things as you work on different projects for other clients.

    Cons

-A little hectic at times but thats to be expected when changing projects all the time, thats just the nature of the business. The only reason I left was because the pay was via 1099 (independent contractor) and I was seeking a position with salary and other benefits.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as a GBA & LXG on the Omni platform. We value the feedback we receive as it helps us know what is working and where change is needed. As a business owner you are able to select the shifts that fit into your life. Omni wants your work to fit into your life, not your life into your work. There are many tax benefits to being a 1099 contractor also. We recommend that our GBA's talk with a tax expert as Omni is not a tax expert. Omni's model is a 1099 GIG model. This gives our contractors the flexibility they want and need. We do not offer typical benefits but being able to select your shifts is a big benefit. When you are a W2 employee you do not have the flexibility a contract role offers. We see the trends going towards the GIG model and we look forward to being a part of the growth. Thank you again for sharing your experience and we hope you rejoin the Omni platform soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience working as contractor with Omni on our Glassdoor Business page. Omni offers contractor roles which give you the work/life balance we all want and need. With Omni you select the shifts that fit your lifestyle! Working as a customer service representative is one of the hardest roles there is. Customers reach out because they have a question or need help navigating a system. We appreciate you taking on this challenge and helping every caller with whatever their questions may be. We would like to gather more details on "unorganized and unrealistic" and encourage you to share any additional details by sending an email to Sue.Kelly@oiteam.com. The more details you are comfortable sharing, the quicker we can review your experience and work to make the changes needed. Thank you again for sharing your experience. Great pay, select your own work schedule, great communication. Those on the talent team for recruitment are always extremely helpful. They provide info sessions to get you familiar with the company and the lady who does this is very helpful. They also provide a live help option if you ever get stuck in an application process.

    Cons
