    Pros

Co workers are the main reason for working with Omni Medical Supply. Omni has some great employees that work extremely well with each other. The owner(s) do like to hear your opinion on ways to improve the organization, how to increase sales, or ways to reduce costs within the organization. From what I can tell, the company is profitable and has been sound for many years.

    Cons

Difficult owner to work with. During the last 5 years many employee benefits and wages were cut, leaving coworkers low moral. Not much to look forward too except a paycheck. No room for growth. Smaller organization that is micromanaged. Many positions carry job responsibilities that would normally require several staff members to complete, but owner(s) require out of one person.

    Advice to Management

Advancement is uncommon at this company. Once you have a position here, you will remain at that position. Several employees are required to wear many hats leaving them little time to dedicate themselves to their main objectives, which are still required to be done "right now". Owner does not like to hear that you are busy with other department tasks.

    Pros

The people you work with are nice.

    Cons

The owner likes to blame people for anything he thinks went wrong. Nothing is consistent. One time you do something one way, another time he wants you to do it different. He is never there to help, just comes around to yell at people and put "notes in your file".

    Advice to Management

Let someone else manage your company. You have good people working here but they don't want to make decisions because everyone is tired of getting yelled at.

    Pros

Employees are terrific! Hard working and work well together as a team.

    Cons

Advancement, recognition for a job well done, good benefits are all hard to come by. The owners of the company see only what they will gain. No flexibility at all. Benefits had decreased over the years. No retirement, no paid holidays. Healthcare with a very high deductible. The company is NOT growing. Very stagnant.

    Advice to Management

A job well done needs to be heard more often. No one wants to hear that the owners just don't care anymore when it comes to employees. Be more discreet. Less micromanagement.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Omni Medical Supply full-time

    Pros

Blue Jean office, small company, most of the employees are great people to work with. However there is one bad one that will stab anyone in the back at any time. Learned a lot about medical supplies.

    Cons

No 401k, no company sponsored health care for your family members. No consistency for doing annual reviews. Raises are only 2 percent, reviews are always late and you have to remind them to back pay your increase. The culture is awful.

    Advice to Management

Two owners and they always put stuff off on each other. Blame game, no consistency in how they manage.

    Pros

Great product and story behind the development.

    Cons

The company does not understand the role of a sales representative. Support is lacking. Resouces and quick communication is needed to complete sales.

    Advice to Management

Remember to simplify the communication chain so that sales can be made quickly. Please respond to any questions from the sales force within 48 hours. Since most of the positions are 1099, Sales people are motivated to complete the sales in a short sales cycle.
