I have been working at Omni Resources full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Omni is a wonderful place to work thus far! It makes me feel like I'm at home and everyone is very welcoming. The three office locations can be extremely fun at times and the flexibility of working remote is a huge bonus for that work life balance many of us strive to achieve. Management is great and very transparent regarding changes in the organization. As an employee, you feel like your voice and opinion matters - it's an employee owned company with a common set of core values that is woven into the DNA here.

    Cons

The company is in a transformative state right now, but the future looks very bright and I for one am very excited about the changes and growth ahead.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing - being transparent and communicating to employees is key to success.

    Pros

They pretend to have money and connections

    Cons

Omni does NOT make a lot of business in the Milwaukee market. Better off to go with another established recuriter in the area. They are excellent at tricking candidates that could be making higher salaries elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Follow the example of other, more profitable recruiting companies in the area which are making more placements. This location is inneficient and inneficient. The reviews of people who approve of this sham of a company are all of less than 5 years. That should tell you something.....

I have been working at Omni Resources full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They don't micro-manage me and yet they provide me with plenty of dialog when I ask for it. We constantly brain storming new ways to reach out to clients. Sometimes I feel the leadership team works for me, I mean I can reach out to any parts of the business and they go to work for me. There is just such a team feel to this company. The leadership wants to know how they can help us BDMs. They are open minded and want us to share our thoughts, good or bad because they know that will make this ESOP shop better. In the leaderships words, "Think Like an Owner".

    Cons

I really can't think of any at this time. I have only been here for 4 months but it is certainly one of the best places when it comes to supporting me and my needs as an employee.

    Advice to Management

Keep supporting your co-workers, colleagues and they will bust their butts for you, the believe in me makes me want to work even harder for the success of this company. Knowing that this is an employee owned it gives you extra incentive

I have been working at Omni Resources full-time

    Pros

    - If you fight for it, pay is slightly better than average - but don't expect an annual raise offsetting inflation
    - 75% of my peers are pretty great as people and geeks

    Cons

    - Lots of drama
    - 80% of the work is staff augmentation
    - "employee ownership" is only lip service. The business is not transparent.
    - Benefits suck

    Advice to Management

Agree on a company identify. Focus on getting work the company can perform. If you want to move the company into a new technology, do some research first to verify the market can support it.
