I have been working at On Campus Marketing full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A high-paced but rewarding team atmosphere with a good perspective on B2B as well as B2C business dynamics. A good launching pad for a young professional geared toward the college market.

    Cons

Salary is not always in line with level of expertise and/or experience; there can be too many levels of management between decisions, modern solutions to online strategy and conversions have been slow to adopt with some career employees

    Advice to Management

Keep your own and reward them! It's a great team and will be better for the gesture

    -Blame game heavy
    -No room for growth
    -Dead end job
-Constant problems leaving customer and clients without reason and unhappy

    Advice to Management

Management? Who would that consist of?

Everyone is disposable at your company, that has been proven in many ways.
You really should take a look at the employees you keep that do not deliver or stand behind your (PRODUCT STORY SERVICE TEAM)

The relationships that you built 30+ years mean nothing when you don't follow through on your business practices internally or externally for that matter.

The hope is that your lifers leave new blood enters and the company starts to really practice what it preaches.

What is in darkness always comes to light and you can only hide behind lies for so long.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at On Campus Marketing part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunities to travel in the US to conferences or on occasional deliveries (for extra pay), fun environment, lots of young professionals, shut down period at the holidays, decent pay for new college grad

    Cons

You have to work 8am to 5pm, too much office politics, unprofessional behavior from some management, during busy times of year you have to chip in and do other departments' work, experiencing growing pains

    Advice to Management

Hire a business analyst to fix/anticipate problems that arise when you make changes

    Pros

Love the people I work with

    Cons

Employee morale is down and management does not care

  5. "Deceitful"

    Pros

Was not that long of a commute.

    Cons

Had an interview for a full time position. Heard back a month and a half later about "seasonal opportunities." Was told I was still a strong candidate for the position I applied for yet was only offered a seasonal position. I accepted and shortly found out the "seasonal position" was in fact a full time permanent position that had become available due to the person moving to a different department. They saw from my resume how much experience I had and knew I would be a great fit. So instead of offering me a full time permanent position they made it "seasonal" so they could get away with very low pay and no benefits.

    Advice to Management

Come out of your offices occasionally and see what your employees are up to.

I have been working at On Campus Marketing full-time

    Pros

    Easy.
    Winter break.
Ok, first job out of college.

    Cons

    Horrible pay.
    No room for growth.
No benefit to put in effort.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and not just ask for opinions for the sake of asking.

    Create a more positive environment.

    Compensate better.

I have been working at On Campus Marketing part-time

    Pros

Easy work. Relaxed environment, if you're just a data entry clerk or batching person.

    Cons

No raises - have to fight. They take advantage often, and you need to ask for a raise with every extra task they give. Otherwise you do not get paid for going above and beyond.

    Advice to Management

Raises for long time employees. Treat all employees fairly and with respect. Cost of living increases yearly - pay should, too. The way to solve customer service issues and maintain a healthy income is to *not* just give away product left and right to solve the issue. This would also help you to be able to give quality workers a fair pay.

    Cons
