    Advice to Management

I've been at Oncore for over a year now, I love my job since I've been @ Oncore it seems like I can't get nowhere? Employees @ Oncore are dedicated to the company but employees don't get any raises

I worked at OnCore Manufacturing full-time

    Pros

Some good employees who work hard and try to do the right thing.

    Cons

Management is horrible. Personal vendettas against employees and not listening. No raises. Dead end career move.

    Advice to Management

Look at the big picture. You have good employees who want to make things right. Stop stabbing people in the back.

    Pros

The people I worked with were all very good people and a pleasure to work with. Some of the systems are very robust and powerful.

    Cons

Senior Management rules through profanity laced intimidation and forces the team to take a save yourself mentality which does not encourage teamwork. Everyone knows its happening but fear prevents them from doing the right thing which is very unfortunate. HR has been informed and has so far done nothing to rectify the situation.

    Advice to Management

Treat the employees with dignity and respect and the results will be measurably better.

I worked at OnCore Manufacturing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Workers are friendly.
Company will work around family issues.

    Cons

    No pay raises.
Management for the most part are inexperienced and inept at electronic manufacturing. They tend to hire a few experienced workers to carry them through but they usually leave the company soon after due to lousy pay. They have a very high employee turnover rate. They pay their salesmen well but the production floor has people there making the same wage they did 9 years ago.
Management lies to autitors, customers, and employees on a daily basis and are more concerned about who to blame than actually fixing a problem.

Over 3 years working there and I had 1 review that was written by my old boss that quit 6 months prior. to me seeing it.
RMA process is non-existent or they just don't follow it. As far as I can see they get an RMA board and sit on it until the customer complains Then they have their worst tech work on it until its been reworked to death and then they scrap it. Then blame it on the customer's techs.
ie looking for someone to blame instead of fixing anything.

Test equipment is outdated and results in easter-egging any digital problem and most analog problems on circuit boards.

Senior management in Ca. is clueless as to how much money Longmont wastes on a daily basis. Lost parts, mispopped parts backwards parts misaligned parts, first article is actually a piece of paper not an actual board..
There is no opportunities at Oncore unless you want to work there for years without a payraise. Their attitude is we pay what we pay and you can be replaced by a contractor.

    Advice to Management

You should all hire assistants to do your work for you.
Sajjad if you read this sir, Longmont needs fixed and all of the buzzwords like value streamiing is not going to fix it. Did they tell you they dipped into this months revenue last month to make the numbers look good? I talked to you briefly once but I had to stop because i was embarrassed by the bold face lie that one of the managers just told you to your face.

    Pros

    low volume manufacturing is nice
looks nice on the outside but needs more picnic tables that aren't taken over by smokers
    location

    Cons

supervisors don't know what they are doing
    dirty and dusty inside
    no where to park
    location
    micromanaging of certain employees
if you're a suck up, the boss and human resources loves you

    Advice to Management

Management here is a joke. You have employees that want to work and then you have your suck ups. They pay more attention to them because of the other stuff they get beside the work they put out. So word of advice is learn to kiss some major toot or find a new job. I found a new job.

I worked at OnCore Manufacturing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The "pre-OnCore" employees, who have been there for over 5 years, are great workers.

    Cons

"Since we are such a large company, we must be doing something right", this is the mantra that management states, thus suggestions of change are heard on deaf ears. Simple requests go through 3-5 levels of approval and could take up to 3-4 months. Attrition is high due to the fact that temp. workers take to long to convert to full-time status, thus they jump ship for permanent status and "pre-Oncore" employees don't see improvements, in fact it's the opposite, simple tasks take longer and more manual processes, thus larger chance for errors to occur.

    Advice to Management

Listen the people down on the front line.

Nice people for the most part. Friendly work environmrnt

    Cons

Poor management that ignores poor performance of many individuals and expects the performers to take up the slack without commensurate pay adjustments or recognition.

    Advice to Management

Walk around. Talk to your employees. Figure out what is really going on.
