    Pros

It's a desk job. The supervisors work with you when you request time off. You can work out a schedule that would work better for your life.

    Cons

Some of the clients the company goes into business with are just downright awful, and making calls for these clients is just soul-crushing. The CEO had told us OPT's grand plans of expanding their market and taking in more of the revenue the market has to offer. That means expanding the responsibilities of the employees, expanding their knowledge and skills, and also NOT increasing their pay. The company has made that very clear. Also there definitely is some favoritism going on. Some of the scripts they have you reading to these customers just hurt your soul. You have you blatantly lie to people, dance around with fancy wording, and just treat the customer like an idiot. All because OPT, and their clients, want to make an extra buck. There is very little that would make me regret leaving this company.

    Advice to Management

Scripts do not mean high-quality customer service. Pick your clients wisely. Pay your money-makers a bit better.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, amazing co-workers, relaxing atmosphere, detailed training, opportunities for promotions.

    Cons

No time to self, have to account for every second of your time, not allowed to have cell phone at your desk

    Advice to Management

Relax a little on the timing, let employees have a minute in between calls.

I worked at OnProcess Technology (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I had some amazing managers that were honest and showed appreciation to their employees. Received awards for providing great customer service. Managers have me great references so I could advance to other positions within the company.

    Cons

Upper management lacks concern for employees. They are down-right ride and unprofessional. The HR department is a joke. They avoid your questions and are lazy. They act like employees are a burden to them. Toward the end of my employment of seven years, I was micromanaged and brought to tears on a daily basis. They expect you to do way too much work. I skipped breaks and worked through lunch to get my work done. When you do a great job, they give you more to do. Lots of agents are so stressed out and quit. Health insurance was awful. Not a lot of paid holidays.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and tell the truth. Stop favoritism and reward good employees. These employees are what keeps your company going, without them, you are nothing!

    Pros

If you want an unprofessional work environment, apply today! You can use your cell phone, swear, show up to work when you feel like it and you are considered an awesome employee!

    Cons

Someone should really look into the inappropriate internet history on the websites of employees laptops based on what websites were showed during a manager meeting under "recently visited sites". Each month you will get an email from the CEO talking about how the companies gross profit was not met and you will not get your bonuses because of it. No bonuses or annual reviews.

    Advice to Management

Human Resources needs to be replaced entirely. The executive team is a joke and they only care about their pockets making money, they do not value or care about their employees.

    Pros

I work with some great people. Beyond that, there are not a lot of positive features to working here.

    Cons

A lot of pressure to keep call duration and processing time as short as possible without concern for meeting customer needs and accurate documentation. No possibility for advancement unless you are "in" with upper management. Pay raises are nonexistent. Draconian work policies and hyper sensitivity to data security that is completely inconsistent with the low level of customer information that is handled. Representatives are provided with inadequate and out of date information, making it difficult to do their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to all of your employees, not just those who are vying to be the "teacher's pet." Identify and rectify the problems that are resulting in an extremely high level of employee turnover.

I worked at OnProcess Technology full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexibility at the mid level.

    Cons

Having to provide 2 weeks notice to take vacation is ridiculous.
The new management has zero regard for it's employees. They don't mind opening offices all over the globe but do not want to pay industry standards. Entry level equals poverty levels. If you are not friends with management, you will never advance...ever. The rules change at any given moment. They set unattainable goals so they do not have to pay you what they promise. You will never attain an "exceeds expectations" because the things you need do not apply to your job. You can do everything imaginable and will never get anywhere. Management is condescending and detached. They expect 1 person to do the work of three without compensation and if you question it, you're a troublemaker. They'll just get someone else to do it who won't say anything.

    Advice to Management

Be aware-everything went down hill the minute the owner left this in your hands. Obviously, this was too much for you...and firing those who had been there since it's inception was not the brightest idea. In this instance, change was not growth. This company will not make it. It looks like it's going to be run into the ground and then everyone will scatter.

    Pros

Offers steady employment for folks, such as college students, who may just be looking for some work to do while finishing their schooling.

Location is decent, accessible to some decent food joints nearby.

The majority of the LSRs that work there are wonderful hard working individuals.

The potential to learn some valuable business lessons exists here. Learn them, and take that expertise elsewhere.

    Cons

For years, this company has shunned the idea of giving agents annual raises.

Health care benefits are existent, but poor. They also change often to cut costs.

Rapid changes at the executive level ensure that company stability remains at an all time low. The quest for profit outweighs the needs of its' employees. Senior management is far more interested in cutting costs than identifying and correcting operational issues.

There is room for advancement here, but the pay for anyone at the supervisory level and above is below industry standard.

Supervisory bonuses are only partially performance based now. If the company does not hit it's goal, it denies supervisors and managers a very large portion of their bonuses. This leads to a decline in motivation to the people who manage your agents.

A serious lack of balance in the supervisory/management level. There is a very unreasonable expectation that you will keep up with managing your employees, all of the clients needs, and the inane requests that the people at the executive level have.
Employee morale is at an all time low, for all the reasons mentioned above. The last two Christmas parties took place in a dismal, poorly lit loading dock where cookies were served, and then the cafeteria where you were allowed 2 pieces of pizza only. I actually witnessed someone get chased down by an angry manager for sneaking a third.

    Advice to Management

You guys already know what the problems are with this company. You just refuse to do anything about it.
