    Pros

People at the bottom are real even when lied to by management constantly.

    Cons

Management are very two faced and hypocritical. Absolutely no job securitt

    Advice to Management

Tell it like it is and quit the constant b.s.

    Pros

You learn a lot about how the ministry and government functions, and see some of the behind the door scenes of the process on dealing with driver's license suspensions, or how to review medical examinations before clearing a driver to start driving again.

    Cons

There were days it was very quiet and not much to do, and sometimes the workload is repetitive and not very challenging.

    Advice to Management

Create challenges and small projects to interns to make them think outside the box.

I have been working at Ontario Ministère des Transports full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They provide lots of opportunities for training & a good work-life balance. In the EDP program you have the rare opportunity to rotate between various engineering offices over a 4 year period.

    Cons

The pace can sometimes feel slow, many of the staff are older and the morale is generally low.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend ensuring people have the opportunities to work in teams, and that out of office socials are encouraged - if staff get to know and like each other then they'll be happier to come to work.
