Pros
I have worked with the company for over 2 years, this company grabbed my attention because it really stood out in a crowd of technology by trying to assist the visually impaired. The products help low vision & blind customers read books and identify products and faces. It really is rewarding in being able to assist someone with reading and identifying products with a cool product like the OrCam My Eye and My Reader.
Cons
Company does not provide positive feedback with employees, which leaves employees to feel over worked, unappreciated and underpaid. The SOP's are outdated which leads to errors on new employees or current employees. Employee feedback is predominantly not taken into account or even appreciated. US employees received far less time off than employees located in Europe or Middle East. Health benefits are minimal, with no vision or dental and a high deductible/copay. There is not a formal HR office in the US, which makes taking time off difficult and leads to work overload upon return. The HR office that is located in Israel RARELY responds to any concerns or questions you send. No one is accountable for their errors and only points the finger at the lowest person on the company tier. Lastly, the device itself has at minimum 2-3 months before requiring a replacement.

Pros
I worked at Orcam for about 10 months. It was an amazing time the product that the company produces is Changing the World and makes it better. The most special and Amazing people I've ever met. The atmosphere in the company is family and pleasant. Arrive at work every morning with a smile on your face and do not want the day to end. I finished working for the company because I was a temporary worker and I wish I could stay there.

Pros
I recently joined OrCam and it's been an absolutely amazing experience so far. There are so many pros I can list for this company. The highlight for me are the people, everyone is so welcoming, nice and willing to help. the friendship environment at the office is great. Also there is culture of openness, the employees can make a real change and innovate. The product is great and make a life changes for people. Great people, Great thinking, Great innovation.
Cons
Each company as its cons, at OrCam the salary are not that high but the value and the experience you get overcomes that.

Pros
They have some really cool tech that mostly works.
Cons
Lack of a product department makes a chaotic workflow. There is no clear goals, and even the ambiguous goals are change regularly. Also, after I returned from paternity leave, my work conditions were worsened.
